The Copa Pro Fight organized by FJJE-Rio, occurred last week in Rio de Janeiro. Rafael Formiga (Soul Fighters) fought beautifully and won his Light weight category and the Absolute in the Black belt. Another light weight who did well is Leonardo Castello Branco's black belt, Alfredo Gomes. He guaranteed the gold in his light weight master category and the Absolute Master. On the Absolute, he won against the medium-heavy weight champion, Gustavo Granha (Carlson Gracie).
"I had 2 matches in my weight category and 2 matches in the absolute. I am happy with my performance. I fought 2 athletes who were heavier than me and I was able to do my game", said Alfredo about his victories.
