The Jiu-Jitsu Ranking Paulista organized by FPJJ, was held in Sao Paulo on March 8th and 9th. The event was full of athletes, not only from Sao Paulo, but from all over Brazil and the world. One of them been Gabriel Vella (Alliance), who won on this weight category and the absolute.

After a great performance at the Super Challenge Grappling (photo) last year, Vella showed that he is feeling strong and back to Jiu-Jitsu. In order to win on his weight category and the absolute, the athlete had to defeat Rodrigo Cruz (XTREME G.T.) and Eduardo Telles (Nine Nine) in the finals.

In the feather weight category, the big champion was Bruno Frazatto, in his debut fight from Brasa team. In the light weight category, Micheal Langhi (Alliance) defeated Cicero Costa (Barbosa). In the medium-heavy weight category, Murilo Santana took the Gold after defeating Tarsis Humphreys (Alliance). As for the heavy weight category, the athletes from Godoi Jiu-Jitsu, Roberto Godoi and Roberto Tozi did not fight each other.
